Gary Yaghdjian has been a professional in the horse industry since 1978. He is an Equine Canada certified Level 2 Coach in both English and Western disciplines. As well, Gary holds judging credentials with Equine Canada and The National Reining Horse Association of Germany.
Gary, along with his wife, Danielle, own and operate The Pickering Horse Centre in Claremont, Ontario. The Pickering Horse Centre is a 50-horse facility offering a riding school, horse boarding, and summer camps. In addition, the facility is host to 12 horse shows each year, including 3 Trillium Hunter/Jumper shows, Reining Shows, and numerous Bronze level shows.
He is the past President of: The Ontario Equestrian Federation; The Ontario Reining Horse Association; as well as the Central East Trillium Hunter/Jumper Association. Gary currently serves as the Equine Canada Chairperson of the Canadian Reining Committee, as well as a member of the Federation Equestre International (F.E.I.) Judges committee.
Gary has successfully competed in numerous horse shows in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. He continues to be a much sought after Horse show Judge and clinician. For many years he has been invited to serve as one of the judging panel at the prestigious German Reining Futurity and Reining Derby.
