Starting a Barrel Horse
Lori started her horse career riding her first horse at the age of 3.By 5 she was ridng horses on her own with her horse training career began at the age of 9 with lessons while learning to saddle the first horse her parents bought her on a limited budget. Starting her riding career with a new young horse had them learn together. Competing at rodeos for over 20 years, Lori started her career both winning rookie of the year in the Mid States Rodeo Assoc. and qualifying for the finals in her first year. She and her husband Brett travelled rodeo together while Lori finished reserve champion up to the IPRA World Barrel title.
Lori and her husband Brett have since stayed home with their family ,developing Fackler Performance Horses,focusing on her first love, specializing in starting and training Barrel horses and Steer Wrestling rodeo horses. Loris gift for horses has produced many champion horses through Canada and the \united States including futurity barrel horses. . Their feeling of accomplishment is being able to train and finish a horse and give a horse back to the client that they are able to both enjoy riding and WIN on too!
